How money works here

Last updated September 30, 2026

Here's what businesses can and can't pay for.

Free to claim

Claiming a brewery's page and getting the "Claimed" badge is free.

While we're getting started

Claimed breweries can update their hours, phone, website and Instagram, and list what's on tap. There's no charge for this for now.

Paid plans

We plan to offer paid plans for breweries with extra tools. No price is set yet.

What money can't buy

Paying doesn't buy:

A brewery's score comes from the average of real member reviews.

What "Claimed" means

A "Claimed" badge means a person proved they run the brewery. It isn't a quality mark, and it doesn't change the score.

How we check a claim

We phone the number on the brewery's own website or public listing — not the number written in the claim — and ask for the person by name. Or we ask for a reply from an email address at the brewery's own domain. If we can't check a claim that way, we don't approve it.

What breweries can see about you

Breweries can't see who said what. Any totals they see are anonymous and appear only after at least five different people have rated. Your pours stay private, and your email isn't shown to breweries.

Disagree with a review?

A brewery can report a review that breaks the Community Guidelines, from the app or by email. A person decides what happens to each report. Reviews that break the rules come down. Reviews that are only negative stay up. The details are in our Terms, section 8.

Community photos

A business can't delete photos the community adds. It can report them, like anything else.
